The Eastern Hockey Federation – the premier amateur minor hockey league in New England – started inviting teams to this tournament in 2010. For the EHF, this event serves as a unique opportunity for the league’s top organizations to play against other elite talent from all over the North American continent.
Ultimately, the mission of the EHF Invitational is to provide fun, competitive hockey for highly skilled players across numerous age groups and divisional ranks.
The sixth annual Eastern Hockey Federation Invitational Elite Tournament will feature Squirt,
Pee Wee and Bantam divisions with separate level designations for the major and minor ranks.
The event is slated to run for four days from Friday, October 10 to Monday, October 13, 2014, with playoff games taking place during the latter portion of the weekend.
Tournament champions from each division will be crowned on Monday.
The registration fee for this year’s event is $1600 per team, and an official EHF tournament invitation will be sent to every Elite team entry.
All Elite tournament games are played at the New England Sports Center, a top-notch sports and entertainment facility conveniently located off of (MA) I-495 and (MA) I-290 in Marlborough, Massachusetts, approximately 35 miles west of Boston.
